Anne-Sophie Pype is appointed as managing director of the Degroof Petercam Foundation

Brussels, August 27, 2024 - The Degroof Petercam Foundation has appointed Anne-Sophie Pype as its new managing director.
Established more than fifteen years ago, the Degroof Petercam Foundation has developed into one of the ten largest foundations in Belgium. Based on the belief in the transformative impact of employment, the Foundation supports the most innovative organizations that contribute to sustainable and fair employment. With its main program, the 'DPF Award', the Degroof Petercam Foundation selects and finances Europe’s most ambitious social innovations for sustainable employment. Each year, a winning organization receives a donation of one million euros and tailored support for five years. Alongside the DPF Award, the Foundation recently launched a Social Innovation Lab focused on employment issues specific to Belgium.
Anne-Sophie’s 15-year international professional journey spans Europe, South-East Asia, and Latin America. Her expertise will provide an added value to the Foundation’s teams and programs in Belgium and beyond. After obtaining a bachelor law degree from the Université de Namur and a master’s in law and a LL.M in energy and environmental law from KU Leuven, she developed an international law career at Baker McKenzie, Liedekerke and DFDL. Prior to joining Degroof Petercam, she was in charge of Baker McKenzie’s business development and global clients. In her private life, she has been involved in various educational and sustainable development projects.
