Degroof Petercam appoints Sofie Pollet as Chief Audit Officer and Gaëlle Libert as Chief of Staff

Sofie Pollet: Chief Audit Officer*
Sofie Pollet succeeds Kaat Bulté, following Kaat’s appointment as Head of Internal Audit at Indosuez Wealth Management.
A Certified Internal Auditor with 20 years of professional experience in the financial services sector, Sofie holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Ghent University, as well as an audit degree from University of Mons – Hainaut.
Sofie began her career as Senior Financial Auditor at Ernst & Young, then held senior audit roles at BNP Paribas Fortis and Société Générale Private Banking Belgium.
She held the position of Director Risk & Regulatory at KPMG Belgium, and most recently served as Head of Audit at Euroclear Sweden and Group Audit Director Finance & People at Euroclear Group. Sofie is currently Chairwoman of the Board of The Institute of Internal Auditors Belgium (IIA Belgium).

Gaëlle Libert : Chief of Staff
As chief of staff, Gaëlle Libert is responsible for advising and representing Degroof Petercam at other entities of the Crédit Agricole Group. She is also in charge of coordinating cross-functional projects within the Group’s ecosystem and of facilitating exchanges both with the Group and regulatory authorities.
With more than 15 years of experience within the Crédit Agricole Group, Gaëlle Libert has held strategic positions in finance, regulation and European affairs. She began her career as a Senior Banking Economist before becoming Senior Adviser for European and International Affairs. Since 2021, she has served as Senior Capital Manager within the Group’s Finance Department. Gaëlle holds a Master of Research in Economic Governance, Market Finance and Political Sciences from Sciences Po Paris, as well as a Master’s degree in Applied Economics with a specialisation in International Economics and Development from Université Paris IX Dauphine.
