Degroof Petercam new partner of Belgian golf federations

Brussels, 18th January 2024 - Running until the close of 2026, the partnership sees Degroof Petercam supporting all clubs affiliated with the three golf federations (RBGF, Golf Vlaanderen and AFGolf). These federations collectively represent 92 clubs and 78,044 members, including 7,465 juniors. In addition, Degroof Petercam assists the regional federations in their various campaigns aimed at encouraging young people to take up golf. Novice golfers receive appropriate guidance during the 'Just Golf' or 'King of the green' courses. Degroof Petercam is also the main sponsor of the Belgian Interclub tournaments, which will go by the name 'Degroof Petercam Belgian Interclubs’ and will also organize its own Degroof Petercam Cup. Degroof Petercam already has partnerships with professional golfers Kristof Ulenaers, Guillaume Watremez and Adrien Dumont de Chassart. The latter is supported by the investment house in his participation in the PGA Tour.

The Royal Belgian Golf Federation was founded in 1912 and is responsible for monitoring the technical aspects of the game of golf in Belgium (WHS, Course rating, golf rules, etc.) In addition, the RBGF also organizes the international and national competitions in Belgium. Selecting, training and framing the national teams is also an important task of the RBGF. Together with the regional federations (AFGolf and Golf Vlaanderen), we support clubs and players to optimize golf.
