Degroof Petercam participates in 30,2 mio private placement
Monday, March 20, 2017 — On 15 March 2017, Care Property Invest, a Public Regulated Real Estate Company active in senior housing, announced the launch of a private placement through accelerated book building with the intention to sell 1,570,000 shares issued following a contribution in kind. On the same day the offering was successfully closed for a total amount of € 30.2m.
Degroof Petercam was able to generate substantial demand from long only funds and specialized investors, leading to an oversubscription at a price of € 19.25 per share, which implies a discount of 7.1% to the closing price prior to launch.
Degroof Petercam is extremely pleased with the success of this transaction, where it acted as Joint Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner in a syndicate comprising one other Belgian retail bank.
