Nathalie Basyn becomes CFO of the future group Degroof Petercam

New appointment within Management

Nathalie Basyn will be appointed CFO and member of the Group Executive Committee of the new entity resulting from the upcoming merger between Bank Degroof and Petercam, subject to the signing of a final merger agreement and to the approval of the supervisory authorities.

Awaiting the finalization of the merger, she will put her expertise at the service of  Bank Degroof from 6 March 2015 on.

Nathalie Basyn has been Deputy CFO of International Retail Banking at BNP Paribas since 2013. She started her career at Procter & Gamble before joining Citibank in 1989, where she held various financial control functions, leading to the position of Retail Bank CFO Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She joined Fortis in 2005, where she served as Head of Corporate Performance Management, and Head of Management Control at BNP Paribas Fortis respectively.
Nathalie Basyn (°1962) has a degree in Applied Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain, and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
