Sylvie Huret, CEO of Degroof Petercam Asset Services, joins the Executive Committee (ComEx) of the Degroof Petercam Group.

Sylvie Huret (1966) holds a bachelor’s degree in law from UCL Louvain (1986) and a master’s degree in law from KU Leuven (1989). She also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the IAG (1991).

She joined Petercam in 1994, after gaining experience at the bar and in auditing (PwC). At Petercam, her responsibilities included performance management, fund administration, various general administration tasks and risk management activities. In 2010, she was appointed Partner and became CFO and member of the Executive Committee.

Following the merger of Degroof and Petercam in 2015, Sylvie Huret took on the role of General Counsel at group level, before joining Banque Degroof Petercam Luxembourg as CFO in 2016. She was appointed CEO of Degroof Petercam Asset Services in April 2021.

Degroof Petercam Asset Services (DPAS) is based in Luxembourg with around 120 employees. DPAS offers a complete range of services covering the entire value chain of investment fund services: structuring, domiciliation, central administration, registration, risk management, governance, supervision of the distribution network, foreign exchange hedging and, if necessary, asset management if the client does not have the equivalent authorization for collective management.

In collaboration with Banque Degroof Petercam Luxembourg, DPAS also offers depositary oversight, custody and trading room services.
